New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2019
The public radio program Here and Now recently asked me to send them FIVE SONGS covering the breadth of music at this year’s New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. I sent 20. But the pool is so wide (and deep!), I easily could have added more.
So here’s more — two playlists of songs to transport you to the Fair Grounds Race Course in Mid-City for the duration of Jazz Fest. This playlist features Louisiana and Louisiana-influenced artists, including many who’ve appeared on Music Inside Out. While listening, picture yourself along a 1.6 mile thoroughbred race track.
